We were tired of hopping all over town to get the key ingredients and tools that we needed for our canning projects. And shipping costs kept eating away at our sense of frugality and sustainability. We also wanted to create a year-round, community-driven hub for safe home canning and preserving information here in L.A. We don't have a store yet, but we will. And until then, you can find us in Highland Park at Good Girl Dinette. More locations coming soon!

Because it's the river that helped found Los Angeles. Because it unites a community that stretches from the mountains to the sea. Because we hike the pathways that follow it and forage for edible greenery in the shadow of the Colorado Street Bridge. The Arroyo means a lot to us and to L.A., both past, present and future.
